CalcGratuity (calcgratuity.xyz) provides free calculators and guides about end-of-service benefits, salaries and living costs for expatriates in the Gulf. This page explains what information we collect, what we do not collect, and the choices you have.

Calculators run in your browser

The salary, service-period and other figures you type into our calculators are processed entirely in your own browser. They are not sent to us, not stored, and not shared. We cannot see your salary or your results.

Information we collect

We do not require registration and we do not operate user accounts. Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s server logs record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of visit) for security and operational purposes. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, which we use only to reply.

Cookies and advertising

We may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more at Google’s advertising policy. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which tools are popular; analytics data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

Some pages contain links to money-transfer and other services. If you sign up through one of those links we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is how the site stays free. Affiliate partners receive only the information needed to record a referral, never your calculator inputs.

Third-party websites

We link to external sites (for example government and labour-ministry resources). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Children

This site is written for working adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new “last updated” date.
